It all started when Reagan noticed me in an English class we had together for two weeks in high school before he moved classes. Unfortunately, I do not remember seeing him (he won't let me live this down). Then graduation happened, summer came and went, neither of us speaking until one day I happened upon a raunchy but very funny twitter account. Somehow, I was charmed by this account and the owner of it wasn't bad to look at either. We flirted back and forth until we finally set a date to hangout. It was the first time we had really actually seen each other in person and the first thing he said was "You're shorter than I thought you'd be" (I never let him live this one down). Yet here we are, 4 years later and I'm still 5'5''.

First let us give you a little back story... Reagan had the ring for awhile and I, Victoria, was totally oblivious because we had been taking a financial class with our church and as far as I knew, we didn't have a savings account for the ring. Also, about a week before he proposed, I remember having to get something from his wallet. When I went to open it, I felt something bulging inside! "HE GOT ME A RING" I thought! I went back and forth on whether or not I should look at it but as I felt the object I realized it was something different... I opened the wallet only to pull out a bolt in a plastic bag! Fast forward to Sunday... It was a chilly evening and we headed out to the 75th anniversary of our church. They were celebrating with food trucks, live worship, and an outdoor service on the lawn. Unfortunately it started misting pretty hard during worship so they had to wrap it up but they did it with a bang. As the pastor closed the event by talking about what the future holds and one of my favorite worship songs started up, fireworks started bursting for everyone to see! They really created a special night and Reagan took advantage! Right before the finale, he turned to me and asked me the best question. I mostly punched him with disbelief but couldn't stop saying YES! The Avenue church is very special to us because we got baptized there together in October. We are so thankful to have found a church home that now holds so many special memories for us.
