Come as you are. No, really. Be as dressed up or as dressed down as you want! We will most likely be outside (weather permitting) for a portion of the day. Keep in mind it is February so you should be fine with light-weight, comfy clothes. It looks as though the weather is not going to cooperate with us this weekend, but the party is still on! So make sure to bundle up. The ceremony is outside, but the reception hall is feet away from the ceremony site. The hall will be nice and warm for those that can't brave the elements. Hope to see y'all there!
For our family coming in from out of town (Waco): To get to Luling from Waco you get on I-35 S from N 18th St and stay on I-35 S for 128 miles. Take exit 205 and Luling is roughly 24 miles down the road. This route adds about 25 minutes of travel time, but you avoid the tolls you would pass along TX-130.
Great question(s)! Dinner is to be promptly served at 6:30pm and consist of brisket and BBQ chicken with pinto beans, potato salad, hash brown potatoes and salad on the side. Sweet and unsweetened tea will be available as well as water and beer. Dessert = Pie. Obvi.
We are beyond excited to get married on the beautiful San Marcos river that we hold so near and dear to our hearts! Several mills were built along the San Marcos River during the late 1800’s. The Zedler Mill, which is the only remaining example, was established in 1874 as the Luling community’s grist mill. Located in historic Luling, TX.
Yes, our venue is BYOB! Feel free to bring your favorite beer or wine.
