We met during Reagan's freshmen year of college. Reagan's suitemate is Thomas' (TC) stepsister and she set TC and Reagan up on a date. Since their first date was within the first year of COVID, their first date was getting drive-thru Chick-fil-A and awkwardly walking through Target. Although if you ask Reagan, their first official date was 3 days later at Ruby Tuesday's. TC and Reagan started officially dating shortly after.

TC and Reagan had scheduled pictures on the beach which Reagan has always wanted. Reagan had a suspicion that it might happen, but TC was very convincing that it wasn't the time yet. While taking 'family' photos with their dog, Daisy, TC took Daisy back to Reagan's dad. As they were doing the switch, the photographer distracted Reagan. Reagan's dad slipped TC the ring box and took Daisy. Then, as they continued taking pictures, TC got down on one knee and asked Reagan to marry him. It was the easiest yes!
