It all started with a swipe... No, really, it did. We often joke that we wish we had a bigger, more grand story to share when someone asks, “how did you all meet?” But as I write this, I am challenged to reframe that thought because WHAT?! How could the sweetest, most genuine love be birthed from a silly little app. What an actual miracle that two people from opposite ends of DFW with absolutely no connection to one another, swipes right, falls in love, and is now planning a wedding and preparing for forever with one another. This little miracle alone is only a small part of the story the Lord has so perfectly woven together for us! We. Are. So. Grateful. After swapping texts for several weeks, going on a handful of dates, and an extended “talking” period, Kevin finally popped the “will you be my girlfriend” question. After that, it felt like a love story that snowballed every day since. In just one year we have traveled to College Station, San Diego, Columbia, Lake of the Ozarks, Charleston, Galveston, Fredericksburg, and New Orleans. In between all the jet setting, we’ve had countless date nights, introducing Kevin to the city life of Dallas. Trying new things has quickly become one of our favorite parts of life together. Talks of getting married didn’t take long, especially when forever was so easy to picture. We talk a lot about loving loudly, and we are prepared to spend the rest of our lives doing exactly that. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you on October 17th, 2026. It truly cannot come soon enough. Cheers!
