Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who will be joining us on our journey down the aisle!

Lauren Melton

Matron of Honor

Lauren is Reagan's oldest sister. Though the 12 year age gap might seem to keep them apart, they have only grown closer! Lauren has helped Reagan continue to grow in many ways and Reagan has helped Lauren keep up with modern lingo. She graduated from The Citadel and has four beautiful kids with Crawford Melton. She is an incredible mom, wife, and sister.

Chelsea Weekes

Matron of Honor

Chelsea is Reagan's second oldest sister. Though she is the wonderful mother to three beautiful kids of her own now, Chelsea claims Reagan was her first baby as she would come home from school as a kid and bounce her in her bouncy chair while she did her homework. Chelsea graduated from Clemson in nursing and is married to Daniel Weekes.

Marena Fleming

Bridesmaid

Cousin by birth and friend by choice, Marena and Reagan grew up going to art and line dancing camp together. She is attending veterinarian school at UGA and has committed to be an army vet after graduation.

Taylor Martocci

Bridesmaid

Taylor is Jacob's older sister and most incredible future sister-in-law. She has recently graduated from University of Wisconsin La Crosse with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Eliza Shaw

Bridesmaid

Eliza, Clemson graduate and Product Marketing Specialist for the American Red Cross out of DC, has chosen to stick around for Reagan since they were 12. They met playing recreational soccer and due to their shared interests of the sport and Cody Simpson, they grew close and never separated.

Brenna Bourgeois

Bridesmaid

Brenna played on the same soccer team with Reagan and Eliza also! Swiftie, cat lady, and beach aficionado, Brenna and Reagan grew up together ripping donuts in her grandparents' golf cart on the golf course behind her house. She is a middle school teacher and graduated from Charleston Southern in education.

Rylie Fry

Bridesmaid

Rylie was one of two roommates for plebe summer at USMA. After a semester of being separated, they reunited and remained roommates for the following three and a half years. Triathlon queen and most hilarious woman in STEM, Rylie has continued to be an incredible friend from afar. Though their beds may not be only feet apart anymore, Rylie and Reagan are inseparable. Rylie branched Engineers and is now stationed at Fort Liberty, NC.

Cassie Daly

Bridesmaid

Cassie was the third of the plebe summer trio. She loves cats, kale, and crossfit, but don't play country music around her. Cassie also lived with Reagan and Rylie until senior year when her competence pulled her off of our floor and into Brigade. Regardless, she spent most of her free time on Reagan and Rylie's beanbag chair. Cassie majored in Political Science, branched Signal, and is stationed at Joint Base Lewis McCord!

Phillip Kolk

Best Man

Phil has been Jacob's best friend since high school. Ironically, they went to rival high schools and met Jacob's senior year at a sports leadership conference where the two bonded over doodling in their notebooks rather than listening to important leadership lessons being taught. Since their first meeting the two have shared a bond that has made them brothers for one another. Phil has taught Jacob a lot about the value of enjoying the small things in life and being grateful for the gifts we receive on a daily basis no matter how simple they may be. In the time that these two are able to spend together, Phil and Jacob have been avid adventurers on the ski slopes, climbing Colorado 14ers, and scheming high end Avis rental cars. Phil is currently a graduate student at the University of Northern Illinois studying to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Mitchell Brinton

Best Man

Mitch and Jacob were roommates all four years during their time at the Naval Academy together. These two initially bonded over their shared love for Coldplay, watching Youtube memes until midnight, and being harassed by Spencer Crispell. Mitch and Jacob were blessed to have not only lived together for four years, but were also able to spend most of their summers and free time together on trips ranging from backpacking Alaskan mountain ranges to touring the coasts of Ireland. However, the greatest aspect of their relationship comes from the love and support the two provide one another, especially the unconditional love that Mitch has always given Jacob. Mitch is a one-of-a-kind man that has always been an inspiration to Jacob in the way that he lives his life and has helped lead Jacob back to a life with Christ. Mitch is a U.S. Navy Pilot currently stationed in Kingsville, Texas flying the T-45 Goshawk in preparation to fly his fleet aircraft, the E2-D Hawkeye.

Spencer Crispell

Groomsman

Spencer and Jacob were company-mates at the Naval Academy and became best friends in the process. Spencer quickly became the older brother Jacob never asked for but also came to love and appreciate him for his "loving harassment". The two have shared many great memories together such as running the Marine Corps Marathon together, backpacking the Wind River Range in Wyoming, and getting their flat earther College Game Day signs on national television. Despite the jokes about Spencer being a grown-up bully, he has played a monumental roll in Jacob's self development and has taught him many lessons in what it means to be a disciplined, well rounded man in today's world. Spencer is a U.S. Navy Submarine Officer onboard the USS Tennessee and is currently stationed in Kings Bay, Georgia along with his beautiful and supportive wife, Abbey. Spencer and Abbey just recently started their own wonderful family by bringing Caden Crispell into the world!

Michael Sager

Groomsman

Mike and Jacob have been best friends since meeting at the Naval Academy and were roommates for three years together and currently live together in Milton, Florida for flight school. Mike was someone Jacob could always look to for encouragement, life advice, or just a good laugh whether it was actually a good joke or just because Mike is fun to laugh at sometimes. The two shared many fond college memories from hosting midnight dance parties in their dorm to sitting down for multiple hours to have Mike teach Jacob the basics of investing. He is a very reliable man and friend that will drop whatever he is doing to help out those he loves. Mike is a U.S. Navy Pilot currently in his advanced phase of helicopter flight training flying the TH-57 Sea Ranger before moving on to his fleet aircraft, the MH-60 Seahawk.

Ron Joseph Babiera

Groomsman

RJ and Jake met at the Naval Academy and were roommates for three years during their time there. The two got close and quickly became best friends from their shared interest in Saturday Night Live, making "documentaries" about the members of our dorm room, and an unhealthy addiction to sharing new Spotify music with each other. Nowadays, RJ and Jacob continue their friendship with late night Texas Roadhouse roll runs and watching Formula 1 races together. RJ is known for his quiet and polite temperament, but despite the small amount of words exchanged between the two, Jacob has learned many great things from RJ. He is one of the most loving men you'll ever meet that has an absolute heart of gold. Jacob can attest to the fact that the second greatest hug he has ever received (second to Reagan's hugs of course) was the hug RJ gave him immediately after they graduated from the Academy. RJ is a U.S. Navy Pilot that is currently in his advanced phase of flight training for tilt-rotor aircraft located in Corpus Christi, Texas. He will fly the TH-57 Sea Ranger and the T-44 Pegasus in preparation for his fleet aircraft, the CMV-22 Osprey.

Eamonn Mireles

Groomsman

Eamonn and Jacob met shortly after graduating from the Academy and worked together as aids to the Chaplain Center at USNA. They were the only two Marines in the lot of 10 aids and quickly made a pact together to be better than the rest. Although the two only got to spend a short two months working together, Eamonn and Jacob knew from the start they had a wonderful friendship ahead of them. The two shared and participated in many hobbies together during their off days from work and hand built two fiberglass skim boards that they took to the beach where Eamonn taught Jacob how to skim board. Once the two had moved onto The Basic School in Quantico they continued to spend time together when able and developed a deeper bond through discussions in their shared faith. Eamonn is a U.S. Marine Corps Aviation Supply Officer with MALS-13 located in Yuma, Arizona.

Joseph Trechter

Groomsman

Joe and Jacob met formally after graduating from the Academy but did not start to grow close until the beginning stages of flight school in Pensacola, Florida. The two were in the same introductory flight school class and were thus forced to become friends, against both of their wishes. The age old saying of "opposites attract" rings very true for Joe and Jacob. However, in all seriousness, these two have made a great team and even better friends since God brought them together. Jacob doesn't tell Joe this often enough (because he already has big enough of an ego) but for the year that they have spent together, Joe has been such an amazing influence on Jacob's faith life and has sacrificed so much of his free time in helping educate Jacob in the teachings of the Church. These two have deepened this bond through praying the Rosary together, the Liturgy of the Hours, and being vulnerable with one another about their personal experiences with the faith. Joe and Jacob now live under the same roof where these conversations persist daily, along with watching an unhealthy amount of Star Wars Clone Wars. Joe is USMC Pilot currently stationed in Milton, Florida in the primary phase of flight school flying the T-6B Texan and hopes to select helicopters to eventually fly the UH-1Y Huey.

Christopher Silva

Groomsman

Chris and Jacob met during Jacob's time working for the Chaplain Center at USNA after his graduation. Although Chris doesn't like to admit it, Chris was Jacob's boss for the two months he worked over the summer and he could not have asked for a better supervisor to have. The two shared a deep and lively connection with one another immediately. Chris was the older brother Jacob always wanted to have. Chris has been a monumental piece to guiding Jacob in a proper and healthy direction with his faith life and has done so through conversations about their shared faith over coffee and donut holes as often as work would allow (which was fairly often). Chris Silva is one of the most humble and down to earth humans you will ever get the chance to meet in this life and hope all that attend get the chance to meet him. People say being asked to be a groomsman in a wedding is an honor, but Jacob would argue that having a friend in Chris is an even bigger honor. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Theology from the Dominican School of Philosophy in Theology along with six years of formation with the Capuchin Franciscans. Chris currently lives in Annapolis, Maryland where he is the Cemetery Administration Specialist for the United States Naval Academy.
