Please RSVP by AUGUST 6, 2025 This can be done by using the QR code on your wedding invitation, returning an RSVP card included with your invitation, or by reaching out to the couple directly. If anything changes to your plans, please let the couple know as soon as possible so we can make adjustments to our final headcount.
The dress code is cocktail attire, and please keep in mind that the ceremony and a large part of the reception will be outdoors.
We prefer a child-free event; we will be on a large lake, and child-appropriate music, conversation, and behavior are not guaranteed. This is an excellent opportunity for parents to have an adult weekend. Overall, though, we want you there, so if leaving your children with a loved one isn't an option, we would prefer you all come. If this is the case for you, please text the couple and let us know if they will be on your lap for dinner or need a chair or highchair so we can consider it for our seating.
It is important for us to have a screen-free ceremony. We appreciate that you want to document our special moments, but we have hired an excellent photographer, and the best gift you could give us is to be present during our ceremony. Please refrain from all electronic use during the ceremony and take as many photos as you'd like during the reception!
We hope all guests can join us at the Hill's Resort; they have many options for rooms and cabins and opportunities for you and other guests to share cabins. The area we will be in is rural so options for other accommodations will be more sparse, and it is important to us that no one drinks and drives. You can call or book your rooms online, and be sure to let them know you are there for our wedding for a discount on your room. We will be at the resort before the wedding, and you are welcome to come on Friday if you'd like to make our wedding a weekend trip. The Resort offers meals in their restaurant, and most rooms have a kitchenette where you can store more food and drinks for your time. Feel free to text us if you need help deciding where to stay on-site or who else you could stay with.
Due to space restrictions, no additional plus one's will be given. Your invitation and RSVP will indicate who is invited.
North Idaho can be a little unpredictable with the weather. We hope to have beautiful summer weather still, but the evenings might be getting cold around that time, so we suggest packing for warm and mild temperatures. Keep in mind and pack for any added activities you would like to do before the wedding like swimming, hiking, or golfing. Lastly, don't forget your dancing shoes!
A more detailed itinerary will be added to the website before the wedding, but we expect the ceremony to begin at 4 pm. We plan to go until Idaho State Law prohibits it, around 2 am.
