Our Story

NYE '20/'21 Our first picture together! We had met just 5 days prior. We first went to his friends' house for some drinking games before heading to CF to meet my friends at the bars for the ball drop!

Taken the night Forrest told Reagan he loved her for the first time (& the night she said it back). He might've had some liquid courage to help him out. ;) We are so lucky to have met through Hinge!

Forrest quickly fit right in with Reagan's friend group, & Reagan the same with Forrest's. :)

Just over a month into dating, a 1 week trip was taken to Jackson Hole, Wyoming & Yellowstone National Park in February 2021. Many thought we were crazy to plan a trip like this so quickly together!

Some of our favorite memories from that trip included a elk refuge tour, venturing out to sightsee wildlife by ourselves, a snowcoach tour to see geysers, waterfalls, & more, & Bozeman Hot Springs!

One of our many slow mornings together. Forrest almost always cooks up a big breakfast on the weekends. When Reagan works he does this too, making it their quality time together during those weekends.

Taken during a walk around Jesup's countryside. We love our frequent walks around town together with our fur child, Oakley. We use them to talk about how our days went and get some fresh air.

Kayaking the Wapsie. Oh sweet summertime- both of our favorite seasons. We love to kayak and be out on the water together.

Trip to Decorah. We love a good spontaneous trip here in Iowa, too!

We have gotten plenty of practice in attending several, several weddings throughout our time together. We can't wait for it be our own this time!

We are eager to spend our first summer together as a married couple in 2023. In addition to kayaking, we love biking, fishing, going to a baseball game, and sitting by the fire.

One of our most treasured weekends in '21. Went from a wedding to the World's Largest Flea Market to Pella to DSM to Madrid & then finally to Ames w/ fun stops along the way for our "mini road trip."

We may be in our twenties, but we will always be kids at heart!

Trip to Daytona Beach in September of '21! We enjoyed dinner on the pier, fireworks over the ocean from our waterfront room, walks & ice cream on the beach, & cruises in the convertible to name a few.

Wrapped up our trip to Florida at Blue Springs State Park after chasing a good sunrise. So cool to see a manatee in its natural habitat!

Damian and Janis Ian from Mean Girls for our first Halloween together. I knew he was the one when he could quote the movie even better than me! Haha!

First Steelers game together! So much fun in Minneapolis. Whether in person or watching on TV, we have enjoyed cheering on and following the team together.

The holidays mean so much more when you're with the one(s) that you love. Cheesy, but true!

We have enjoyed staying busy during the colder months with Waterloo Black Hawks games with friends and Reagan's sister McKenna and her boyfriend (& Forrest's new best bud) Brandon.

Hosting friends- something we love to do, whether that be for a BBQ, "Friendsgivingmas", tailgate, Super Bowl, or something of the like.

Forrest's taste in music has rubbed off on Reagan some, so pictured is them at a Whiskey Myers concert in Milwaukee! Also spent our weekend at the Horticultural Conservatory, ice skating, & rock climbing/bouldering.

Love hanging out with our friends' growing families.

Tackled a good amount of outdoor work together in effort of making our house feel more like a home. It's always some good relationship building (haha) and is so worth it when it's all said and done!

Family pictures! He ran his first ever marathon that morning. He's always such a trooper and has few complaints!

Forrest picked up an interest in golf in '21 & really got into it in '22. Reagan went from "I'll just drive the cart" to developing an interest herself in '22. They now enjoy golf dates together.

Archery shoot! Reagan & Oakley were lucky enough to tag along. Love seeing Forrest in his element doing something he is so passionate about. Reagan loves learning about bow hunting from Forrest, too.
