We're getting married!

Reagan and Curt met for the first time when she moved to Clarkdale in 6th grade. Curt still remembers what Reagan was wearing when he first saw her. In his words, "an awful Auburn long sleeve navy shirt, with her Kavu bag over her shoulder." :)

Curt started dating one of Reagan's close friends their sophomore year, so they naturally became closer friends also. Then, in 11th grade, they had a field trip to New Orleans, where Curt's sole mission was to tell Reagan that he liked her. He failed to do so, and Reagan spent all of high school having no idea that he had a crush on her!

Curt and Reagan had remained friends throughout the rest of high school and throughout college, but were both off following their own paths. Then, February 3, 2023, Reagan texted Curt, being nosy about what was happening in his life. From there, they began texting more frequently and connecting more.

Curt invited Reagan to a fundraiser event at his school on April 29th, and of course she said yes. That night, they both flirted with each other and began thinking that they might have feelings for each other. A week passes after the ball drop, and Reagan and Curt became official on May 7th!

After what felt like months of Reagan waiting, he finally asked!!! Curt thinks the proposal was almost a complete disaster. From August of 2023-November, Curt had been feverishly planning how he was going to ask Reagan to marry him. Starting with Plan A, Curt ended up on Plan H. From hiding the ring from her to secretly scouting where he was going to propose, Curt was burning his romantic candle at both ends. With many close calls and thinking she knew what was going to happen, Curt successfully pulled off asking Reagan without her suspecting anything. She was so excited and in complete shock. They are so excited to begin their lives together!
