It all started back in middle school, I was in 6th grade, and Chris was in 7th. We met at a crawfish boil through mutual friends, and from the moment we met, Chris had me laughing with his jokes and teasing. What started as innocent middle school flirting quickly turned into our first “relationship” - complete with hallway hellos and holding hands at Friday night football games. Even as the years went by, Chris never really disappeared from my life. Throughout high school and into college, he would reach out from time to time. A message here, a call there, always finding small ways to stay connected. Years later, when I was attending Texas A&M and Chris was living in Bryan, our paths crossed again. What started as catching up quickly grew into something deeper. We spent more and more time together, and it became clear that what started as a childhood crush had grown into something real and lasting. Through the challenges of long distance, new careers, and the whirlwind of nursing school, our love continued to grow stronger with every season. In May 2025, Chris proposed in Central Park in New York City — the most magical, dream come true moment. Now, after years of laughter, growth, and countless memories, we couldn’t be more excited to begin our next chapter together and celebrate our love with our family and friends on January 24, 2026.
