Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st. Otherwise, you might not get a seat or something to eat!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes, if not, we would prefer if it is was just you.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are and thank you for asking! Please select the Registries tab on this website for all the details.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy the ceremony and reception. However, please leave your swimsuits and pajamas at home. The Barn is an open air venue and May evening temperatures are typically mid to low 60's. But this is Texas...! When it comes to shoes, consider you will be walking on a grassy lawn and dancing all night long.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

In Crockett, Texas, at the intersection of Loop 304 and State Highway 21 East (towards Alto), take State Highway 21 for 2.5 miles. Then turn right on FM 3187 for 2.5 miles. The entrance to The Barn at Hickory Creek will be on your right. Turn right onto the driveway, which is Private Road 5050, and continue up the hill to the venue. Ushers will be available to direct parking and escort you to the ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You may arrive as early as 5:00p.m. There may not be much to do other than enjoy the beautiful scenery but you are more than welcome to arrive early and socialize.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue. Ushers will be available to direct parking and transport you from parking to venue.

Question

Will dinner and alcohol be served?

Answer

Dinner will be served during the reception. The bar will be open until the bottles are empty. You are welcome to bring in your coolers after dinner is served and the cake is cut. Enjoy your drinking responsibly because we still reserve the right to escort you out whether the fun comes from cooler or cup.
