FAQs

The Wedding Website of Reagan Miniken and Avynn Donaghe
Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s) on the day of the wedding?

Answer

There is a parking lot available for any guests who choose to drive. We will also have a shuttle that will have a pickup time at the Lookout, Campbells Resort and the Midtowner Motel, and do a round of drop-offs after the reception.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will take place outside. Please be prepared for summer Lake Chelan weather. Sunscreen and sunglasses are a must. The reception will be located indoors, within a wine cave at Karma.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Starting October 8th at 8:00am (PDT) guests can book rooms at Campbell's Resort by calling their reservations team at 1-800-553-8225. For Midtowner Motel reservations, call 1-800-572-094. Make sure to mention group #792599. Group reservations are not available online. There is a 2 night minimum, but if you want to extend your adventure you may also do that when making your reservation!

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

There will be a shuttle that picks up guests at the Lookout, Campbells Resort and the Midtowner Motel.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

To add to the ambiance of the occasion, we kindly request that you come dressed in cocktail attire, adorned in hues of our colors (jewel tones: navy, emerald, burgundy, gold, burnt orange, teal, aubergine, etc.). However, above all, wear what makes you feel most confident and radiant. Color swatches will be included in invitations.

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Summer in Lake Chelan is hot and very sunny. Weather in July averages at mid-80's to 90's. Please be prepared for the heat, and wear sunscreen. We love an accessory, so feel free to indulge in fun sunglasses, hats, or a parasol.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be more than enough wine and beer to go around!

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. We will be moving in a few months, so our address will be changing. Please send gifts to 14590 Westminster Way N, Shoreline, WA 98133. However please do not mail any gifts until after January 1st, 2025. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Guest services start at 5:00. Once you arrive at the venue, guests gather at the entrance and ride a trolly up to the ceremony space. At the ceremony space there will be a small bar with water, wine, and a few snacks. The last shuttle will load at approx. 5:45-5:50. Please be on time. If you miss the trolly, unfortunately you will not be able to view the ceremony. However, you are still able to attend the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

Instead of having a rehearsal dinner, we will be having a welcome party on Friday evening at The Albatross by Karma for anyone who is able to attend!

Question

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to Reagan if you have any questions in the weeks/months leading up to the big day!
