Alex and I’s story all started with a pack of sour skittles at a high school football game in 2015. I was a cheerleader and he was a football player. During the game, Alex and Connor decided they wanted skittles, so I went to get them some. After the game, Alex and I exchanged Snapchats and Alex told me to bring him skittles to school on Monday. I went to the gas station that my brother worked at and got a pack of sour skittles. Welllll, I got nervous and refused to give them to him and kept them in my bookbag for MONTHS. After this, it took us 10 months to finally realize our feelings for one another at a tower trip with friends. We went on our first "official" date on September 17, 2016 to a Virginia Tech football game. It was truly an amazing first date of so many laughs and butterflies. The following Friday, after a football game, we became official on September 23, 2016. We fell hard and we fell fast. It truly felt like we had been together forever and I couldn't imagine someone fitting my personality better. We experienced a lot together through our last two years of high school including homecomings, proms, and graduation. In the summer of 2018, Alex and I were talking about wedding plans and set our wedding date and talked about our plans for using the barn for our wedding. Fast forward 4 years and we have since experienced college graduations, first jobs post-graduation, and so much life in between and are offically planning our big day. We are so excited for our next step of marriage and building a house together and truly could not be happier with one another.
