Jake and Rachel first met at a friends house in middle school. Jake was in 8th grade and Rachel was in 7th grade. Rachel walked into the house and immediately thought Jake was super handsome, however, Jake didn't pay too much attention to Rachel, as he had another girlfriend at the time. Flash forward to 2016 when Rachel moves back home after finishing her Bachelor's Degree at Northern Arizona University. They were both at the gym when Rachel's friend asked her, "Do you know that guy? He keeps staring at you." Rachel looks up to see it is none other than Jake, the cute older boy she met at a friends house 9 years ago, a shocker, he was still super hot. Neither of them had the courage to say, "hello," and Rachel thought that would be the end of it. But not even 10 minutes after leaving the gym, Jake messaged Rachel on Snapchat. This was a shock to Rachel as she had no idea he had her number. They spoke every day from that point, but Rachel was nervous to jump into a relationship. So for the next few months, they spent time together only in groups, but Jake was persistent and Rachel finally let her walls down. In the Summer of 2016, they shared their first kiss at a concert at Lake Mission Viejo. That same night they both met each other's parents who were also at the concert, so much for taking it slow. The rest is history!

Now we are living in our first little place together in Irvine, CA. Jake is a Chiropractor and practices functional neurology, and Rachel is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist working at a preschool nearby. We have 2 little fur babies, Luna and Whiskey. We are loving this season of life and are excited for our future as husband and wife!
