Tony and Ashley’s story began back in January of 2017 when they were introduced by mutual friends and - although they lived 800 miles apart - began to grow in affections towards one another. In 2017, Tony made the long drive to NYC to meet up with Ashley in person, and there, they went out on their first official date at the Blue Note Jazz Bar. Things continued to go well and shortly after, the two officially became a couple on May 19th, 2017. The couple continued dating long distance for a year until ultimately, Tony moved to NYC to help plant Fordham Community Church in The Bronx. Once living in the same city, their relationship continued to flourish - though it included some learning experiences and opportunities to grow. The two separated for some time and remained friends while individually focusing on their relationship with The Lord. Through much prayer, clear direction from God, and a little help from some friends, Tony and Ashley were once again united in November of 2023. On January 15th, 2024 at Gantry State Park, Tony proposed with the sentimental phrase “Our relationship has had a lot of twists and turns, but through it all my love for you has remained consistent.” Ashley then returned the sentiment by responding with an absolute “YES!” Please celebrate with them on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 where they will honor God in holy matrimony.
