We met through mutual friends at Carroll Community College. Every Tuesday, we'd all get together as a group to go to wing night at Buffalo Wild Wings. I sat next to this tall, slender hipster guy, while opening up a gag gift a friend had given me -- "Grow Your Own Boyfriend." It's one of those water-absorbing plastic polymer toys that grow three times their size in water. I asked the waiter, extremely non-nonchalant if I could have a glass of room-temperature water. And Clint thought it was the most absurd thing in the world. What's this girl doing? Turns out I the boyfriend I was looking for wouldn't be grown in water, after all. He was right next to me all along.

We can't even begin to thank all of our incredibly wonderful family and friends for all of their love, support, warmth, and kindness. Thank you, truly, for lifting us up and celebrating us -- we look forward to each and every memory with you. And a special, sincere thank you to each and every one of you for helping Sarah through her accident. Your check-ins, care packages, calls, texts, well wishes, and love were (and continue to be) a shining beacon. We couldn't have done it with you -- you're a significant part of every chapter.
