Question

Wow. That's a packed schedule. Do I have to attend everything?

Answer

We are so grateful you are coming to our wedding! We recognize that many of you are traveling from out of town. Of course we will have the traditional ceremony and reception, but we wanted to arrange some additional events for the weekend. We hope that these activities will offer us more opportunities to spend time with all the people we love who have helped us get to where we are now. You are welcome to spend some more time with us and meet each other, or go explore the area on your own! We would love to recommend some of our favorite SoCal spots.

Question

What is the dress code for the big day?

Answer

California Summer Formal. We're going for like a dreamy woodland fairytale vibe if that helps at all. Floor length dresses, but not formal gowns. Suits or slacks and dress shirts, no tux needed. Wear comfortable footwear - Mt. Woodson has a combination of grass, stone, dirt, and uneven ground.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if you RSVP only for the people your invitation is addressed to. However, our wedding is a celebration of love! If there is a special someone in your life who we may not have known about, please contact us. No promises, but we will see what we can do.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st. You can share your reply on our website (starting mid July) or by calling Lauren at (805) 551-0429. You may also call Elizabeth Creger, the Mother of the Bride, with questions about the couple, the wedding, or other planning needs (805) 889-2216.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive as close to 4:00 PM as possible - not too much earlier and definitely not after. Just before is great. 3:50 is perfect. If you are driving, there is free parking onsite at the venue with a minimal walk. We aim to start the ceremony once everyone is seated, just moments after 4:00 PM.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate all dietary preferences. Though if you have a serious food allergy, please let us know. Let's not get people sent to the hospital.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Is water wet? We're millennials. It's #readysetveillette
