Every year the school that I attended would take an extravagant trip to what we called "Competition." It was a very large event in Knoxville, TN where Christian schools around the U.S. would come together to compete in various categories, thus the name "Competition." Little did I know that while I was literally just sitting in the hallway of that school in Knoxville, TN that my future husband would walk down that hallway and introduce himself. We have been dating since November 25th, 2015 and I wouldn't have it any other way!

We had made plans to take a trip to TN to visit with Jesse's family and we were also there for a wedding. His family had planned a family picnic that Friday. We got up and headed to Cade's Cove on October 19th, lots of pictures were being taken but one in particular was very special. We were standing on a bridge in front of a mill inside the park, we took a picture and I started to walk off when his sister said "let me take one on my phone" I thought to myself "this is odd we literally just took a picture in this exact same spot" and "why would she want one on her phone?" I put my hand on his chest for the "picture" when I noticed his heart beating abnormally hard and this is when he got down on one knee and I said yes! His sister recorded the whole thing!
