Brian and Alyssa met on Hinge. They had their first coffee date on January 11, 2019 at Elixr Coffee in Rittenhouse. Naturally, Alyssa was late and Brian was getting his second cup of coffee when she walked in. Brian brought a rose with him to their first date - which Alyssa dried and still has to this day. The two easily fell in love and the rest is history!!

Brian truly crushed the proposal. He convinced Alyssa they were going to a happy hour with friends on the beach (in Avalon) - BUT, Alyssa was suspicious and told him so. From there, Brian convinced Alyssa that there was absolutely no chance they would be getting engaged that weekend. On August 4, 2023, Brian and Alyssa walked to the beach. There was a picnic set up on the beach, with a sign that said "Alyssa, will you marry me?" Of course Alyssa said YES!!! Both of Brian and Alyssa's parents walked onto the beach shortly after to celebrate their engagement. The next day, Brian, his parents, and Alyssa's parents surprised Alyssa with an Engagement party with their closest friends and family there to celebrate. It was an incredible weekend, and one that is so special to both Brian and Alyssa.
