We met in college in a history class. It was a very small number of students and our class was held in a conference room. One day I was running extremely late to class and got stuck in the seat next to the professor. This was the day Chris says he noticed me. Probably because I was so late! The following week I made sure to get there as early as possible in order to get a different seat. That day I sat next to Chris. It was the only day in class we were asked to work in partners. Chris and I started talking and the rest is history.

It was Christmas Eve and we always spent it with Chris's family. We have a tradition where we all sit in the living room and open gifts. After all the gifts were open Chris said he had one more for me and handed me a small box. I started opening it and realized that he played me with a box inside a box gift. I laughed and rolled my eyes and kept opening. When I got to the final box, inside was a post it that said the magic question "Will you marry me?" I was in complete shock and looked up to see Chris down on one knee in front of me. Of course I said YES! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
