We are so happy you are here!

It was not love at first sight - we met by coincidence at a high school basketball game and couldn't stand each other at first. Reflecting back on it now, you could probably feel the awkwardness in the air and both of us were trying so hard to "be cool". In the weeks that followed our friends noticed we often asked about each other and continually paired us together whenever we gathered. After months of Adrian saying he would never be in a relationship, we became "official" on the evening of April 12, 2010 and have been deeply in love for over 13 years. We have traveled together far and wide, shared so many life experiences, learned so much from one another, and grown more deeply in love. We plan to continue this journey hand-in-hand for the rest of our days. All those years ago, we never dreamed that we would be here. But on the precipice of our 14 year anniversary we will begin a new journey together - renewing a commitment that we made to each other long ago.

Adrian proposed to Silvana 12 years later in the beautiful Maui, Hawaii. Silvana thought she was just gong to watch the sunset before exploring the night life of Maui, but Adrian had planned the best surprise. Needless to say, Silvana said yes and they headed to celebrate with some of their best friends in Lahaina, Hawaii.
