FAQs

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We've decided to keep our big day a dry event. Please respect our wishes and do not bring alcohol onto the property. There are local wineries and bars nearby if you'd like to have a few drinks before/after the ceremony!!

Question

Is there somewhere we can stay for the weekend if we're out of town?

Answer

There are several hotels in the Salisbury area!

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

We're keeping it simple with PIZZA!!! :D We'll have the basics - cheese and pepperoni options. We may throw in the Groom's favorite (Meat Lovers) and the Bride's favorite (Hawaiian). There will be salad and breadsticks as well!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

There will be PLENTY of kids at the wedding. If you're able and/or would rather get a sitter for the night, that's perfectly fine. But, if your kids know us and would like to celebrate with us, we'd love to have them!!

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes!! That was something very important to us when choosing a venue. There will be a handicap unloading zone at the front of the barn (you just cannot park there for the event). Both indoor and outdoor ceremony areas are flat and easy to navigate with a wheelchair or walker. Bathrooms are on ground level and very spacious.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Though gifts are certainly welcome, we have decided not to build a wedding registry. We initially planned on doing a Honeymoon fund. When we found that we were starting a family, we decided the Honeymoon will have to wait a few years, but it will definitely still happen on a special anniversary in the near future!! We will have a QR code and a cute little suitcase set out at the wedding for any donations to help with expenses of starting our family and/or to our future honeymoon. :)

Question

What attire should I plan to wear?

Answer

We're not picky!! Wear something nice, comfortable, and warm!! Weather permitting, the short ceremony may be outdoors or indoors. If outdoors, its literally just steps away from the inside of the barn, so you won't be out in the chilly temperatures long, if at all!!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony and Reception are in the same place!! Parking will be to the left of the barn in a large grass lot. There will be no transportation from the parking lot to the barn. If you are unable to walk a moderate distance, you can be dropped at the front of the barn prior to parking the vehicle.
