We met at a bar a few blocks from our college campus in November of 2018. Legend varies on which of our friends introduced us that night depending on who you get the story from.

Only a couple of months after we met, Read studied abroad in Scotland for a semester. Veronica came to visit on her spring break and we went on our first trip together to Portugal. In May of 2019, we both graduated and drove together from Buffalo to Colorado, the first of many road trips together.

We were lucky to both get jobs in Boston after graduation and both moved into apartments there in the summer of 2019. After enduring the start of a pandemic and still liking each other while stuck together in quarantine, we moved in together in September of 2020.

In March of 2021 on somewhat of a whim and to escape the high rent prices of Boston, we moved to Buffalo. Although bittersweet, it did end up being a great decision!

In November of 2022, with a little patience and a lot of luck, we bought our first house! A 1900 Victorian house that we are slowly working on (not because it needs work, but because we need things to keep us occupied).

In April of 2023, we adopted the best dog to ever exist, Timber! And starting in January of 2024, we also occasionally add to the chaos by fostering dogs.

In August of 2024, Read proposed and so we decided to get the government involved and throw a party to celebrate with all of you!
