December through February is prime manatee season! Visit Manatee Park to see the manatees gathered in the warm waters near the power plant. Look for kayak rentals here or Telegraph Creek for an up-close experience.
Closest beach to Fort Myers - it suffered a lot of damage from Hurricane Ian, but much is being rebuilt. You can still find restaurants, shops, and activities here like parasailing or jetskiing.
A Fort Myers must-do. Combination museum and historical site of Edison and Ford's winter homes. There's lots to see, so make sure you have a couple hours at least.
