We met four years ago! We were working at Texas Roadhouse at the time. We started out as great friends in the beginning. I remember I went to Buffalo Wild Wings by myself after a long shift. He called me over to sit with him and some mutual friends. We talked for hours about Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Without realizing it, our table had filled up with friends. We were so lost in our conversation we forgot other people were there! We saw each other at a colleague’s Halloween party a few weeks later, and something changed! We have been head over boots for each other ever since.
It was a cold Saturday morning up in the mountains in Bailey, CO. We had just froze our butts off all night. Raz was getting the dogs ready while I snuck two socks into my pocket. One for the golden snitch and one for the ring! We went for a hike to a prearranged spot the land owner marked for me, but as we started up the mountain the dogs had a different plan. I was looking for a perfect spot and I ended up finding this great clearing surrounded by aspens. I threw the golden snitch in the leaves before Raz could catch up to me. She bent down to pick up the snitch and I dropped down on one knee. Of course our huskies were pulling me in seven directions, but I focused on her and asked!
