Jordan and Garrett found love at first "swipe". The pair matched on a dating app and had their first date on January 18, 2018 at Guerro's Taco Bar on South Congress in Austin, Texas. They got to know each other over margaritas and chips and salsa - the true Texas way. They enjoyed their time chatting and getting to know each other so much so that they didnt want the night to end there. They continued their night by taking a stroll down South Congress to go to a karaoke dive bar and several other places before ending the night. Jordan and Garrett made plans to hangout again two days later and as it is said, the rest was history. Both knew they had found someone special. The two have continued to have fun and grow with each other since that day.

Jordan and Garrett were on a family vacation with the Stricklen family in Seaside, Florida when Garrett got down on one knee and asked Jordan to marry him. Jordan had offered to take family pictures of everyone on the beach. As everyone got ready in their white and denim outfits, Garrett got more nervous knowing what the afternoon had in store. After Jordan was done taking pictures of everyone, they offered to take Jordan and Garrett's pictures. Garrett dropped to one knee and asked Jordan to marry him. She said, "YES!" The couple celebrated their engagement with champagne and family on the beach.

Together, Jordan and Garrett enjoy staying active and trying new things. They like to spend time with their dogs Daisy and Raider. They love the outdoors and taking them to the greenbelts, hiking, and camping. Jordan enjoys cooking new recipes, and Garrett likes to eat them. They enjoy a good date night. Some of their favorite places are BarChi, Gloria’s and Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. They love to travel and explore new places. Together they have been to Arizona, California, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee!
