We first met junior year at South Hills High School, an island girl crossing paths with her Southern Texas boy. But the real magic began senior year. Lester was a basketball player, Raysbett a dancer, and we started off as just friends. Then, on December 26, 2015, he made it official with a teddy bear and chocolates. . From prom nights to late-night calls, our story kept growing. After graduation, we faced a long-distance relationship when Lester left for Notre Dame. A year later, after a 17-hour drive, we reunited in Indiana. There, we learned so much about love, culture, and commitment. We explored beautiful places, welcomed our cat Alex, and in 2022, received our greatest blessing our son, Li’Angelo. Then came November 18, 2023. What seemed like just another romantic date turned into a moment we’ll never forget. On a gondola ride in Dallas, with our families and friends waiting just around the corner, Lester got down on one knee and asked the question Raysbett had been waiting to hear since 2015. And now, we can’t wait to say “I do.”
