I was working of course, and he came in with that beaming smile. He asked if he and his friend Vernon could record a skit in the back. I was watching him the whole time. He never came up to ask for my number but everything in me said he was going to. He didn’t. Then I saw him again one night and we officially met. I told my friend, “there goes my man” she was like “who???!!!!!” I pointed as she went over and gave him my number. He texted me that night. We hung out for the first time on Valentine’s day. We watched movies and stayed up until the sun rose, just talking and laughing. That’s when we found out we have so much in common.
Ebinose was accompanying me on a trip to Pittsburgh for a work training. He said he wanted to stop by his mom’s first to see her before she left back to Oregon, but little did I know he was going to ask me a life changing question! He disappeared as we got into his mom’s house. I was sitting in the kitchen chatting it up with his mom, Iyun, when I noticed he was gone. I just got done asking where he went when he walked in with his sister, Iviose. He got down on one knee to ask me to be his wife! He pulled out the most beautiful perfect ring I've ever seen in my life. I don't remember a word he said and I'm pretty sure he was stuttering. I was shaking terribly, crying, and yelling "yes, yes, I do, I do!!!!" then off to Pittsburgh we went. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Port Matilda, Pennsylvania!
