Our story began in a way neither of us expected. Justin was deployed in Japan with the United States Marine Corps, and Rayna was earning her degree at the University of Oklahoma. What started as simple conversations quickly turned into daily calls, long messages, and a connection that felt easy from the start. When we finally met in person, everything just clicked. From that point on, we knew we had found something genuine. As our relationship grew, we learned how to support each other while balancing two very different worlds — military life and college — and through it all we kept building something steady together. This season of life feels especially meaningful. Justin has completed his second deployment, and Rayna is working toward graduating in May 2026. It’s been exciting watching everything come full circle as we step into this next chapter together. Soon we’ll be starting our life side by side in Oceanside, California, where Justin will continue serving in the Marine Corps and Rayna will begin her career. After so much time spent counting down visits and phone calls, we’re most excited for the simple, everyday moments — slow mornings, late nights, holidays together, and creating a home wherever life takes us.
