Thanks for asking! We want everyone to feel safe. For the wedding, masks are optional in church. Do whatever you’re comfortable with! We will also still be able to sit as families or groups of people in the church but every other row will be blocked off so we have enough spacing between parties. As for the reception, masks are welcomed; however, they are not required at the reception. Again, just do what you are comfortable will.
Kindly RSVP by May 5th, 2021. This is a month before the wedding and this helps us get a correct head count for our vendors. You can RSVP sooner if you'd like. Just go to the RSVP page on the website. Or you can text Ben or Rayna and they can check you off as coming! No worries if you don't want to RSVP through the website.
We are registered online at Zola. You can check out the registry on the website and browse most wanted items and other items that Ben and Rayna would love to have as newlyweds. We also have a small registry through Target; this registry is connected through our Zola website. Ben does not have a separate registry at Lowe's/Menards, instead, he has giftcards through Zola listed so he can expand his tool collection. Cards and gifts are also welcomed through the mail or at the wedding.
The mass begins at 2:30 but we recommend getting there at least 15 minutes before hand to grab a seat and get comfortable before the service begins. If you are running late, you might have to wait outside of the church until the procession is finished, but you will be able to come in after the procession.
If your invitation specified bringing a plus one and you RSVPed with a plus one then yes! If your invitation did not specify a plus one, we kindly ask that you yourself just come; if you have any questions regarding this subject, feel free to text or call Ben and Rayna.
We welcome little ones to the ceremony and reception. We ask that you please just RSVP with them in mind and keep your eyes on them during the festivities.
Yes! Our hashtag is #Bayna2021; make sure to use this when posting to social media so we have all of our amazing pictures in one place and we can enjoy the shots you took as well.
When you RSVP, you will be asked if you need any food accommodations. If you have any further questions or concerns, text or call Rayna and Ben at 317-997-0641.
The bride and groom are not providing transportation for guests to and from the wedding/reception. There will be free parking at both the church and the reception venue. Feel free to carpool, Uber, or drive yourself to the event. If you are planning on taking advantage of the cash bar at the reception please make accommodation accordingly.
There will be a cash bar at the reception; however, there will also be lemonade, tea, and water that is included in your meal. No outside alcohol will be allowed.
Thank you for wanting to capture our special day on camera! We ask that during the ceremony at the church you leave the photography up to our photographer and you sit back and enjoy the ceremony. We ask this because the sanctuary is a sacred space and when our photographers are taking pictures we want to see our guests enjoying the ceremony and not on their phones. However, at the reception, we encourage you to take all the pictures you want and even post them on social media! Don't forget to use our hashtag #Bayna2021 when you post pictures so we can enjoy the shots you took!
Despite some diocese decision to limit singing due to COVID, the diocese we are getting married in has allowed us to sing during the mass. Programs will be provided and in them are the lyrics to the songs we will be singing. We encourage you to sing with us so that our day is filled with voices of praise and celebration!
Since we will be celebrating our special day by taking part in mass and Holy Communion, we ask that you wear church appropriate clothes. This includes but isn't limited to dress shirts and pants, dresses, nice sweaters, a classy romper or skirt, or a full suit. We ask that you don't wear anything too revealing and any spaghetti straps or strapless garments be covered with a shawl or a sweater. At the reception, you are able to take these top layers off if you wish. As for shoes, heels or ballerina flats are perfectly fine and if you wish to not continue to wear your fancy shoes at the reception feel free to bring flats, flip flops, or simply go shoeless, it's a dance party after all!
Yes, both of the venues are wheelchair accessible.
We have planned out a delicious, sit-down meal for you all to enjoy that is featuring chicken and briquette as our main dishes. There will also be plenty of tasty sides to go with it. And after dinner, there will be a dessert table for you to enjoy.
