What is the Weekend Itinerary?

Weekend Dates: Thursday October 30th - Sunday November 2nd Thursday: 4pm Check-In - all guests must arrive by Thursday evening. Friday Morning: Group day out in Downtown Gatlinburg. Friday Evening: Rehearsal Dinner - Taco Bar at the Cabin. Saturday Morning: Boys who wish to participate will spend the morning golfing with the groom. Ladies will enjoy brunch and mimosas at the Cabin prior to getting ready. Saturday Evening: Wedding begins at 4pm. Sunday: Clean up spaces and post-wedding prior to checking out at 10am.

What should I pack?

Answer

We will be spending Friday together as a group, likely in Downtown Gatlinburg. It will be the last weekend of October in the mountains so pack for chilly mornings and warmer afternoons - typical fall weather. We will monitor the weather for the weekend, and we recommend you do the same! In late October, Gatlinburg experiences crisp autumn air with highs around 72° F and lows near 41° F. Friday night is our Taco Bar Rehearsal Dinner! Please bring something beachy, floral, and fun to wear! Saturday morning: For the boys, if you wish to participate, pack your golf clubs and an outfit for the greens: you'll be golfing with the groom! For the girls, we'll be enjoying brunch together at the house. For the bridesmaids and momma's, please bring the getting ready outfits you were gifted. Make sure to have your bridesmaid dresses, tuxes, or semi-formal outfits for the wedding Saturday evening!

What do sleeping arrangements look like?

We have thoughtfully placed each of you in specific rooms throughout the house. When you arrive, we will direct you to where your room will be.

How do I pay for my cabin stay?

Please send your payments via Venmo to: @tracieshaun Payment is due by September 15th - Please do not select payment as a "gift" when sending. As a reminder, costs for your weekend stay are as follows: Couples: $300 Individuals: $150

What extra expenses will there be?

Answer

We have asked that each guest cover the cost of their stay. Information on cost can be found in your invite, here in the FAQ's and the Wedding Weekend Guide also located on the website. We will be taking care of dinner Friday and Saturday evening. For the boys, you will cover your own round of golf and anything purchased while out on Saturday. We will supply ice for the weekend and brunch for the ladies Saturday morning. Please keep in mind that the cabin is about 30 minutes from town, so prep ahead of time for that! The only additional costs will be Thursday evening and any expenses you choose to incur on our day out on Friday. Sunday morning we will likely get up, tidy up our spaces and then head out of the cabin so plan on doing your own thing for breakfast that morning.

What are the vibes?

Answer

We have obviously chosen a very intimate, small wedding for many reasons, and one of those being how we envision our wedding day to be. Neither of us are big partiers or very grand in the things we want, and when we thought of how we wanted our special day to look, we knew we wanted something with our closest friends and family at a beautiful cabin in the Smoky Mountains. With that being said, we are excited to celebrate our marriage with a small, but meaningful ceremony, a lovely dinner, some cheesy speeches and dancing. Please be respectful of the fact that we are renting this cabin for our wedding and have their own rules to abide by. We're excited to have a wonderful weekend with each of you without anybody ending up in jail :)
