Should I rent a car?

Answer

Like any major city, Miami has a lot of ride share companies (Uber, Lyft, etc.) that being said if you plan on taking advantage of Miami while in town, consider renting a car.

I've never been to Miami! What's your one piece of advice?

Answer

If you are fair skinned (and even if not) and plan on any outdoor activities; please, please, please, wear SUNSCREEN. The sun in Miami in September is strong, and you will get sunburned if you don't take care of your skin.

Where can I stay?

Answer

We have some rooms booked at The Mutiny. You can make the reservation by phone and ask for "The Gonzalez Barrett" wedding hotel block. The group code for our hotel block is MGWB. As a side note, the Mutiny Hotel has storied history, even being dance location Scarface frequented. You have to reserve a room by August 5th to be included in the discounted room block.
