Jamila Odom

Maid of Honor

Hello everyone! I’m Jamila A. Odom, and I proudly wear several titles: two wonderful individuals call me Mom, while three little ones refer to me as MiMi. In the charming town of Chesilhurst, NJ, you might hear me called Mayor, Pastor, or the most endearing title of all—Boss Lady. One of the greatest blessings in my life is having Desiree Bryant, soon to be Mrs. Watkins, by my side as my best friend. From the very moment we met, I knew she was my sister. I told Ray, "That's my sister!" Desiree, affectionately known as Ms. Goddess (or Goodness, as I like to say), is always there to listen and share her infectious laughter. Our late-night conversations, spontaneous adventures, and even the tears we’ve shared have forged an unbreakable bond between us. It is my absolute honor to stand by her side as her Maid of Honor on her special day as she embarks on this beautiful journey with the man of her dreams!

Dyer is a dedicated public servant who motivates others while promoting self-reflection. His motto is that there are no losers, only winners who embrace challenges.
