Once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives us a fairy tale.

Raymond's cousin, Kathrine, was teaching Hot Hula classes Crystal attended. Kathrine invited Crystal to the Philippines to go on a mission. Crystal decided it was a good idea to know about the Philippines and maybe some of their language, so Crystal asked Katherine for a reference to gain these skills before the trip. Katherine Introduced Raymond to Crystal August 23, 2017. They messaged and video chatted on Facebook. Raymond fell head over heels right away and asked to court* Crystal. Crystal didn't want any sort of relationship, but saw no harm in him trying. After a month he got her approval and they started dating October 2, 2017. * Courting in the Philippines: A man asks a woman if he can court her. If she agrees, he serenades her every night, brings her gifts and flowers. Until she agrees to be exclusive with him, as boyfriend and girlfriend. Traditionally he asks her parents and only courts her inside their house.

"There are a million of love stories but ours is my favorite." Proposing to a beautiful and Amazing woman like Crystal is an amazing and awesome part of my life. May 10, 2018 we put a period on the long time of waiting. Bicentennial Park in Clark, Philippines was the location where the wonderful event took place. As the music entitled "Beautiful in White," by Westlife, started playing, I gave her a love letter and we walked together, she had an idea what was happening, but definitely didn't know what would be next... then when we arrived in the middle of the park the children opened the proposal signage saying, "Will You MARRY ME?" I was down on my one knee and she started crying. She gave me her ring finger with very much excitement and I got her sweet "YES", thus, we got engaged!
