Lawnside Day, also Angie's birthday. A bunch of us were sitting in the Lawnside Fire House talking and hanging out. It was the first time I met Angie. As I tried not to weirdly stare at her sitting on the bumper of the firetruck, I knew there was something special about her. Her eyes, her smile, I knew right then I was hooked. She was gorgeous and I had to make my move!! And then it happened... "#2110, domestic in progress." So there I go, jump in the patrol car and head out to the call. By the time I'm done with the call, all I have is Angie on my mind. I have to rush back so I can talk to her and maybe get some 1-1 time. When I get back, she excuses herself to go "freshen up," and right as I was about to walk her out, Theresa decides to jump up and shows her the way. (still pissed about that ReeRee) So there went my chance. When she got back they ended up leaving. I was worried I'd never see her again because I had taken another job and would be leaving Lawnside later that year. So I did what any guy would do in that situation...I asked one of the fellas what her last name was and Facebook stalked her. I typed up this long elaborate message about how I never do this and I don't mean to be creepy, but in short I said, "I really didn't have a chance to talk to you and I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner or a drink sometime." and again closed it with, "sorry if this is creepy." I sent this at like 4:30am. What the hell was I thinking??? Now I'm sweating it out, thinking this girl probably thinks I'm some kind of psycho stalker. About 9:30am my Facebook messenger goes off and I'm dreading what I'm about to read. To my surprise she messages me back, "yes this is creepy, but I talked with some of the guys from the fire department and they all said you were a good guy. See you Tuesday night at 8pm at PJ's in TWP."
