San Francesco d'Assisi Airport (PEG) For those coming from afar: We recommend staying in Italy 1-2 nights earlier to beat that jetlag and see the country!

YOU CAN RENT A CAR FROM ANY AIRPORT, including the airport in Perugia near Assisi. If you decide to, we recommend taking a train to Assisi then renting a car from the airport. Please note: it is not possible to rent a car in the town of Assisi. If you want to see the country side, you could travel to Assisi by train. Rome Train Station: Roma Termini Assisi train station: Santa Maria Degli Angeli -Assisi Train Tickets from Florence to Assisi: - 16 trains a day (most are direct) - ⁠Trips take roughly 2 hours & 30 minutes - ⁠15 euros per person for a one-way trip Train tickets from Rome to Assisi: - 12 trains a day (most are direct) - ⁠Train takes 2 hours a trip - ⁠13 euros per person for a one way trip

Transport to the wedding venue

You can only reach the wedding location by car. Luckily, italians drive on the right side, and we have plenty of parking places at the venue! Taxis are also widely available in Assisi.
