Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

At the reception, yes of course! During the cermony we ask that you be present with us and enjoy the moment. We have hired a photographer and videographer, lets let them do their job and provide the best images of the day for us all. We've all seen the social media videos of people ruining a shot with their arm holding a cellphone.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, but no..... Please feel free to take photos (not during the ceremony), but please refrain from posting anything until after the Bride and Groom have announced their marriage and posted the first photos. You are the only people in the world that will know of this marriage in advance. Please help us maintain our privacy and our surprise. We intend to post our first photo that very day, once that happens please post as much as you would like, we encourage you to post pictures with our wedding hashtag #raylovesjay2024 so we can keep track of all of them all!
