The weekend of our wedding is the last weekend of the Star Fair! It’s the biggest State Fair in Country! (Or one of them?) Rides, food, baby animals, art, food, craft beer, fried pickles, corn on the cob, lots of people, lots more food... not to be missed.
This historic and scenic spot is where we’re getting married! The space was a flour mill from 1880-1930. After it exploded, it was eventually built up into a museum.
Take a scenic stroll or sit and sip a beer from the concession stand. Rent canoes/kayak to explore the connected Lake of the Isles. It's walkable to shops and restaurants in the Uptown neighborhood.
A gigantic shopping center complete with an aquarium, movie theater, Lego-land, and an amusement park with roller coasters. Get the app and decide where you want to go in advance, or spend the day on in the vortex... This place is near the airport, also on the Metro Blue Line.
View the gorgeous falls and take selfies from the overlooks, casually stroll around the park, snack at the restaurant. Opt for a rugged but mellow 2 mile hike along Minnehaha Creek to the scenic spot where the creek feeds into the Mississippi River.
Delicious global food court in a bustling urban marketplace. We're partial to the Moroccan and Soul food stalls!
Ray loved this place as a child and still does. Museum of natural history with huge dioramas of taxidermied animals native to Minnesota, a planetarium, and a room where you can handle ancient fossils and live snakes.
For the Prince fans!
