Father of the Bride
Although you don't say much, you have let me know that I make you proud. As children, the most important thing we can do in our lifetime is give our parents the satisfaction of knowing they did good. You instilled in me at an early age that academics were important. I remember as a child, you'd help me with my homework and answer any questions that I may of had. I still remember the one and only time you whooped me. I was about 7 years old and I flooded the upstairs bathroom by overflowing the tub because I went to watch TV. It was then that I knew you meant business, lol. I respect the role you've played in my life and I look forward to the big day! I am excited that you will be giving me away and walking me down the aisle. It's been a long tine coming, lol.
Mother of the Bride
Man, what can I say...I love this woman here! She has taught me so much about being a woman and a bride-to-be. The lessons she has instilled in me have shaped me into a woman that I am so grateful for. She is there anytime, anyplace, anyhow. She gets the job done. I don't know another person who could cover for her. My mom is truly my ultimate best friend. When something is wrong she is my first go to, big or small. We talk every day, multiple times a day. I could never repay her for all the sacrifices she has made to give me a great life and all the tools needed to be successful, but I'll spend the rest of my life trying. I am so happy for you to witness this moment momma and I can't wait for you to see me standing at the altar. Everyone bring her some tissues, she’s a crier.
Maid of Honor
Meet Ashley! Ashley and I refer to one another as "cousin/sister/bestfriend", lol. I love this girl to pieces. She's known me my whole life, literally. She is the one who knows everything, and I mean everything. We share so much. We are alike but different in so many ways. We've laughed together, cried together, and gotten angry with one another but never seem to miss a beat. Whenever she needs me, she knows I'm there. There is no way this wedding could go on if she was not apart of it. Everyone be sure to bring some tissues on the big day, did I forget to mention she is a crier, too!
Matron of Honor
Our relationship has truly blossomed into something special. I met Jazmin years ago as a girl scout. I have faint memories of us camping with one another and doing other Girl Scouts activities. Fast-forward to high school we were in the band together. After high school, our relationship took a turn for the better. We hung out more. We talked more. We became close. Jazmin has become one of my best friends. We have fun when we are together. Some of my best memories are shared with her. If I ever need honest advice, this is who I call. If I ever want to hang out locally or travel internationally, this is who I call. When life happens and we go without talking it feels like there is something missing and we have so much to catch up on. I can't wait to share this day with you. I love you girl!
Bridesmaid
Taylor and I are first cousins. Growing up I used to want siblings. I felt it would've been nice to have someone around all the time. They say cousins are like siblings, well I'd say Taylor is the closest thing to a sister. We share so many memories together, both childhood and adulthood, some that I laugh about all the time. I am beyond proud of the woman she has grown to be. I couldn't be happier. It saddened me that she moved to Houston at the same time that I was leaving, but no distance could ever change our relationship. When we are around one another we pick up right where we left off.
Bridesmaid
Meet Alexis! We are first cousins. I remember growing up and spending countless summers in Oklahoma City. We spent so much time playing in the park and riding the bus to church on Sundays. I'm so excited that I get to share this moment with you as I become 'Mrs. Pinson'. Alexis is smart, beautiful, and has a heart of gold. She's always willing to help with whatever, and I mean WHATEVER is needed. Oh, and be nice to her she may be the medical personnel on board if things go south during the reception after one too many drinks, lol.
Bridesmaid
Baby Girl, that is what we call her. Her real name is Brandalyn and she is one of my first cousins. Baby Girl and I spent most of our younger summers together in the country. I have so many memomries. Often times, we didn't even know we were making memories, we just knew that we were having fun, sometimes maybe too much fun! I vividly remember one summer that we got in trouble and if I recall it was one of the first times my Aunt Vivian (her mother) got on to me. Fast foward from childhood, we got the opportunity to create more memories as we both attended Prarie View A&M University together-Go Panthers! I am so thankful to be creating yet another memory with you, my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Meet my first cousin, Chara! When I first moved to Houston, Chara greeted me with open arms. It was nice to have family so close as living in a new city was frightening for me. While living in Houston, we spent alot of time with one another. I looked up to her as a big cousin. When I needed advice on life situations she is who I turned to. She is full of wisdom and will give it to you straight, something we all needed to hear sometimes. Chara is the life of the party! Plus, she can cook and oh I mean cook and that is always a way to win me over, lol.
Bridesmaid
'Kiki do you love me, are you riding..' lol. Everyone meet Kynesha, the 'momma bear' of the pack! If you are ever in need of planning a trip that has a detailed iteniary and an itemized checklist, she's ya' girl! Oh, and she'll keep you in budget too. Kynesha and I are cousins. As you can tell by now, I have a ton of cousins. I grew up as an only child, so the more the merrier for me. Kynesha and I share alot of the same interest and hobbies so it was always a good time when she was around. Can't wait to 'pop champagne' with you and share a toast to the good ol' married life!
Bridesmaid
Meet the 'boss babe' ReAnna! I love the fact that ReAnna is about her business and despite anyone's effort to block her blessings, she rises to the top. In the midst of a pandemic she launched a business and it has taken off. If you are into cute and chic jewlry and other pieces that are handmade, check out her business Elleir Made. ReAnna's mom and my mom met one other at a young age and their friendship blossomed into a sisterhood. Same goes for ReAnna and I and I can't wait to share this moment with you sis.
