We're getting married!

We met thru Tinder actually. Yes we’re aware how it sounds, especially considering Mariana used her ‘superlike’ on Ray. But we met officially in person at a house show in Denton! Considering where we are now, Tinder wasn’t so bad a place to meet.

Our friend, Isaiah, had been asking to take couple photos for well over a year. So, having him ask again was a great opportunity to take pictures without giving it away. We spent weeks building up to it, Ray even tried to make other plans to really make sure she didn't think too much of it. We went to Texas Discovery Gardens, found a quiet spot, and popped the question.

Mariana has been my rock these past few years. Through COVID, it was really hard for me to focus on myself as work become so hectic and complex. She pushed me to focus on my family and personal health and helped me understand how important they were for me to truly be happy. I couldn't have gotten to where I am today if she hadn't shown me how to slow down and take care of the things that are important first.

Ray has always been so patient with me. Over the past few years, we have gone through a lot with moving in together, our pets, but also in our personal lives, we've grown so much individually. Whenever I've been down, Ray has never failed to bring me back up and stand with me. I know that no matter what our future holds, we'll get through those times together.
