We're Getting Married!

Ray and Indeia went to Manhattan College together from 2011 to 2016. During this time, Ray & Indeia were only friends. It wasn't until 2018 when Indeia saw Ray at Toasty's (Josh's) rooftop party that they reconnected. Indeia decided to shoot her shot by texting Ray how she felt about him, after Toasty's party. Ray eventually asked her on a date and the rest is history.

On a perfect September Friday night, Ray and Indeia went out to eat dinner at their favorite restaurant in Tarrytown called The Farmer and The Fish. Ray told Indeia it would be a good way to end the summer and would kick off their commitment to a monthly date night during the school year, (Teaching is a 10 month busy season). During dinner, Ray & Indeia spoke about their plans for the future in great detail, (where they wanted to live, how many kids they wanted to have, etc.) & Indeia mentioned that she was ready to take the next step. At that moment, Ray said that he was ready too, and proposed at the outdoor seating portion of the restaurant. She said yes, the whole restaurant started to applaud, & Indeia's sister Aliyah showed up with her cat Oliver to give her press on nails since she refused to get her nails done even after Ray & Aliyah hinted at her many times over the past week to do so. Indeia was genuinely surprised & there is nothing about that moment that she would have changed. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in November!
