Crested Butte is remote, which makes it beautiful... and a little tricky to get to.
From the front range, it's a 4.5 hour drive.
For those flying in, Grand Junction is 3 hours away, and is a good option if you can find flights. Denver International Airport is 4.5 hours away and will have more flight options. Please let us know your travel plans and we can try to coordinate car pools, etc.
The town is small, so most lodging options are at Mt Crested Butte, which is a quick 6 minute drive. There is also a free town shuttle that runs to/from Mt Crested Butte and Downtown several times an hour.
