FAQs

If you have any questions that haven't been answered here, please contact Lauren at 972-510-4236 before May 8th!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than April 10, 2025

Question

Do I need to purchase a ticket to the fair?

Answer

As long as you RSVP by April 10th, you do not! Your ticket to the wedding is also your ticket to the fair.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the fair by 10:15am, that should give you plenty of time to park and make your way into the festival. 9:45-10:00am is the opening show for the fair!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding, but wearing a costume is highly encouraged! The renaissance festival is full of people dressed in everything from full suits of plate armor to cowboy chaps to fairy princess ballgowns to Star Trek uniforms complete with Vulcan ears! Even if you don't have anything to wear but you want to dress up, there is a costume rental shop right inside the fair. If you don't feel comfortable wearing a costume, that's okay too! Our suggestion is garden party attire, since it will probably be warm and humid. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we only have a very limited number of tickets so we can only accommodate the number of people listed on your invitation.

Question

Do I need to bring cash for the fair?

Answer

Many of the vendors at the fair will take card, but there are a few who will only take cash. If you forget to bring cash, there are multiple ATMs at the fair.
