One of our favorite places in the city! This beautiful conservatory has nine themed green houses. Best of all - it's FREE! Explore the fern room to find dinosaurs hidden throughout (no, we're not responsible).
It's FREE and so much fun
Another Chicago landmark, Buckingham Fountain is a gorgeous spot for some gelato and selfies. Great option for a DIVY bikeride!
You'd be remiss to visit the Windy City and not visit Cloud Gate (nicknamed The Bean). It's a marvel and another great photo opp! While you're there, check out Millennium Park.
Take a stroll on the newly constructed River Walk. Enjoy a Chicago Dog (hold the ketchup) and get up close and personal with downtown.
Have a thing for heights? Check out the skydeck at the Sears (now Willis) tower. Sweaty palms guaranteed.
This is a great spot on the museum campus near South Loop. Even if you don't pay to go in, there are incredible views of the skyline on the waterfront.
Great aquarium - one of Dave and Caitlin's very first dates!
One of the most popular attractions is the architectural boat tours that traverse the river and lake. A wonderful way to see the city and learn something while you cruise. Tickets are usually around $30.
Iconic Chicago location - great photo opp! While you're there you can get some shopping done at the original Marshall Field's on State street.
A staple for Chicago tourism, the Signature Room (and lounge) has some of the most beautiful views around. Dave and I celebrated our first anniversary here. While the views are worth it be prepared for expensive drinks and food. Head to the Signature Lounge, not to be confused with the Signature Room - for the most expensive glass of wine you'll ever have! Worth every penny if you time it right at dusk and watch the city start to twinkle!
Awesome views of the Chicago skyline from this point. Bring a picnic if the weather allows and soak in the most beautiful city vistas.
Great spot for a drink! Visit the roof deck for incredible views!
