Things To Do

Jessica grew up going to Lake George in the summers and has curated a list of some of her favorite activities in the area. We hope you love the lake as much as she does.

Hike Buck Mountain

1750 Pilot Knob Road, Kattskill Bay, NY 12844

A moderate/difficult hike that offers sweeping views of Lake George. Recommend trail shoes or hiking boots for the steeper sections

Lunch at the Sagamore

110 Sagamore Road, Bolton Landing, NY 12814

We love this property and highly recommend visiting for a lunch. They also have a golf course if you are here for multiple days and want to pop over to the links.

Lake George Village

1 Beach Road, Lake George, NY 12845

Lake George Village is a walkable lakeside town nestled at the southern tip of beautiful Lake George in the Adirondack Mountains. Stroll down Canada Street to discover lively restaurants, cozy cafés, local boutiques, and fun arcades. If you want a tchotchke from your visit, you will find any kitschy souvenir to your hearts desire on this strip.

Cruise on the Minne-Ha-Ha

57 Beach Road, Lake George, NY 12845

The Minne-Ha-Ha is a stern-wheel steamboat on Lake George, New York that does a 1 hour cruise around the lake. It's an institution on this lake and if you have the opportunity a worthwhile sight-seeing excursion.

Water Sports

Highly recommend renting a kayak or a paddle board and getting out on the lake especially in the mornings when it's calm.
