Mehendi is the beautiful art of applying intricate henna designs on the hands and feet of the bride and guests. It is a joyful and colourful tradition celebrated the evening before the wedding, surrounded by music, laughter, and loved ones. Guests are warmly encouraged to get henna done!
Sangeet is a vibrant celebration of music, dance, and entertainment shared by both families. It is an evening of joy, laughter, and performances — think of it as the ultimate pre-wedding party where both families truly come together!
Haldi is a traditional turmeric ceremony where a fragrant paste of turmeric, sandalwood, and rose water is lovingly applied to the bride and groom by family and friends. It blesses the couple with radiance, health, and good fortune. Wear yellow or white — it gets wonderfully messy!
These are deeply meaningful traditional Telugu pre-wedding ceremonies. Pelli Koduku is for the Groom and Pelli Kuthuru is for the Bride. Each ceremony honours family, heritage, and the sacred transition into marriage. They are rich in ritual, colour, and emotion — a truly beautiful experience for all guests.
Dress codes are listed for each event on the Schedule page. As a guide — Mehendi and Sangeet call for bright festive colours, Haldi is yellow or white, the Wedding Ceremony is formal traditional or cocktail attire, and the Farewell Breakfast is smart casual. When in doubt, be colourful!
