Ravi and Deepa met one summer week in Spain during her brother's Wedding. With a last minute RSVP notice to attend the wedding, and a delayed flight, Ravi was off to a rocky start, considering that Deepa was in charge of organizing the seating plan and transportation from the airport to the Hotel. Fortunately, first impressions are reedemable; and during one of the after parties, Ravi saw Deepa across the room in her element, dancing the night away. He noticed her smiling all the time, and how much fun she was having with her friends and family, and he couldn't help being moved by her. In a slight moment of irrational impulse, Ravi walked across the room and pulled her in for a dance, unsuspecting that from that moment on, their lives would have changed forever. And to think it all started with a dance...

It was a very special proposal, with a waterfall in the background in Chame, Panama. After a long walk with an unexpected place and time in October 2020. Little did Deepa know that after her trekking experience, Ravi would pop the question, along with the other "tourists" who turned out to be the camera and video team! So romantic!
