Jonathan and I met at the Vermilion Sailors football stadium in 2010. We were both band aids helping the Vermilion Sailor Marching Band with their half time show. Jonathan and I always knew of each other throughout our middle school and high school career, but it was never more than just a friendly wave in the school halls. It wasn't until October 28th, 2018 at our church trunk and treat event where we reconnected. From October - December we texted, had phone calls, and FaceTime every moment we possibly could. On December 9th, Jonathan came to Florida to visit me! We were so excited to see each other again! On December 10th, Jonathan and I went to Circle B in Lakeland, Florida to explore the great outdoors. During our walk, Jonathan stopped and ask me if I want to be his female companion. Of course, I was a little bit confused at first, but I knew he was asking me to be his girlfriend and I said yes! After that, we continued dating long distance, 1,089 miles apart. None of that matter bececasue we were, we knew that we were in love. On June 22, 2019, Jonathan and I went to Hilton Head Island for the McGaffick Family vacation, so Jonathan could meet my extended family. That morning, we went to Mitchell Beach. I brought my GoPro with us to the beach to start filming our vacation. Jonathan told me that he saw dolphins on my right, so I turned to start filming them. As I started panning my GoPro towards Jonathan, he was getting on his knee to propose. Of course, I said YES! We are now excited to start our new adventure as husband and wife on September 6, 2020!
