This is one of our favorite activities as a couple. For several years we have been AMC A-List members where we get to watch up to 3 movies a week in any format, Dolby Vision being our favorite. We like to coordinate the movie theme with our fashion. Additionally, we write movie reviews called #MusMovieCorner on Facebook.
Newport Avenue
If you have seen the movie "Almost Famous" this is the exact street featured in the opening scenes. There is something for everyone on this legendary street whether you like concerts, shopping, bars, hotels, restaurants, theatre, coffee, acai bowls, thrifting, the beach, parades, skateboarding, farmers markets and much more. Our bohemian beach town has kept the same essence from the 60's.

Balboa Park
Dating back to the early 19th century, Balboa is one of the oldest public parks in the nation. Luckily for visitors, much of the early architecture has been impeccably preserved, including the iconic California Tower.
Liberty Station
Liberty Station is a large commercial development that sprawls across the grounds of a former naval training center. It’s home to stylish bars, restaurants, and boutiques, as well as Liberty Public Market, filled with gourmet eateries and shops. There are also art galleries and several small museums housed in Spanish Colonial Revival buildings. Along the waterfront, NTC Park has grassy lawns and bike paths.
Coronado Island
Coronado is a California resort city on a peninsula in San Diego Bay. It’s known for the grand Victorian Hotel del Coronado, which opened in 1888. Coronado Island has long been a haven for prominent personalities, including the Duke of Windsor, Thomas Edison, Charles Lindbergh, more than a dozen U.S. presidents and many celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, Rita Hayworth, Douglas Fairbanks and more.
