To be honest, our story doesn’t begin like a classic romance movie. It’s a modern typical millennial story of meeting on a dating app. I was helping a friend tailor their profile to see what the girls side looked like so they could get better matches. The day I was going in to turn off my account, Iku’s photo popped up. He wasn’t holding a fish in his profile photo and looked very handsome ,so that was what drew me in( it’s Alaska so that’s pretty much every Alaskan guys profile photo ) . Then his profile showed his interests. We both loved Studio Ghibli, reading , and well food. After about a week of talking , Iku asked me to Fiori D’italia. The first date was fun and we were there for hours, then he asked me on another date and after that we were never apart. Since then we have moved in together , traveled to many countries , and supported each other through many trials. Now we are ready for the next step in our journey.
