Erik and I have been in each other’s lives for a long time. Tiffaney Sharp, my Matron of Honor, and Billy Sharp, his Best Man, are married to each other. Billy and Erik have been good friends since their high school years. Me and Tiffaney were in college together and I was in her wedding to Billy, every baby and birthday party they’ve had I’ve been there. And so was Erik. We never spoke other than a hello. After both of us had failed marriages and relationships, one afternoon I was at Tiffaney’s house chatting about our kids and she said, “Why don’t you and Erik talk?” I said, “Erik Rose?” She said yes, she gave him my phone number and the rest is history. We were engaged 2 months later. Both of us had prayed the same prayer and God answered, all I can say is when you know you know.
